There are eight different MyStop convenience stores, with petroleum stations, located along the I-75 corridor in Michigan. The stations are operated under the BP, Mobil and Sunoco brands. About the role


We are looking for both part-time and full-time in-store personnel to join our growing team as store clerk with advancement opportunities across locations to shift lead, assistant store manager, store manager and ultimately district manager.


Ideal candidates for this position enjoy interacting with customers. They take pride in a tidy and clean space, seeking ways to improve the atmosphere. They also find learning new things, like about new products, and taking initiative very rewarding.


Most times you may be the only employee at your MyStop location, so we will only consider candidates that we can rely on to be on time, take initiative throughout the store, and troubleshoot when problems arise.

Responsibilities of the position

  • Ensure a quality customer experience. You’ll be interacting with customers, answering questions, helping them find products and make purchases.

  • Ensure all products are well stocked by maintaining inventory throughout the store. The products you will be responsible for will also include alcohol, tobacco and lottery tickets.

  • Ensure a clean and healthy environment for staff and our customers. You’ll be responsible for cleaning outside the store, at the pumps, and in-store.

  • Work with your manager on improvements to the store, our processes and your personal development goals.

  • Hourly rate of $12-14/hour, depending on qualifications, with a $750 signing bonus after working your first 90 days.

Position Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.

  • The ability to work in the USA.

  • Some technical skills – how to use a desktop, printing documents, maintaining email, using point of sales system.

  • The physical ability to stand for long periods of time, clean floors, restock shelves, and lift items up to 25 pounds.

  • Some experience working in a customer service or retail environment.

  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently.

  • Reliable, professional and trustworthy.

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.

  • Reliable method of transportation.

Candidate Preferences

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • 1 year of customer service or retail experience.

  • Interested in opportunities for advancement across MyStop locations
